Brian and I started making photo Christmas cards our very first Christmas together as a married couple and have done them ever since. We put together a blog so that we could share all of them in one place and you can see how our family has grown. It is not our plan to keep up this blog throughout the year. Make sure you sign up via email (in the sidebar to the right) so when we do post, you get it right in your inbox. Thank you for stopping by and we wish you a very happy holiday!

Year 1 - The beginning of the end...

We'd like to welcome you to our little old Christmas card site.  Our tradition of creating memorable cards  started our first year of marriage.  We knew we wanted to do something fun but didn't want to go with a letter.  And so the photo card was born.  I don't remember who came up with the theme and luckily we had all the pieces for our outfits.  We scheduled our appointment at the local family picture chain and strolled in wearing our tennis whites.  Amid families in matching sweaters, no one really knew what to make of us and averted their eyes.  When it was our turn to pose, I'm pretty sure we offended the photographer since she was a tennis player and had to tell me how to hold the racket.  Brian was very much "in character".  We ended up with several great shots from this session which one day will make it up on a wall.
